Agencies often charge $500 to $1,000 for one editorial backlink on a site you do not run. Lede Press is the site. The page is published here and listed in public.

## Questions
### What is guaranteed on a Lede Press backlink?

The live page on ledepress.com contains one dofollow link to the product URL you submitted. The anchor does not use rel nofollow, rel sponsored, or rel ugc. Open the published URL and inspect the link. That is the guarantee. The domain rating of this site is 0. It does not promise a Google ranking, a traffic number, or a change in that rating.

### What does SEO and GEO optimized mean on the $29 plan?

SEO means the title, the summary, the headings, and the dofollow link are edited so a search engine can tell what the product is and where the link goes. GEO, generative engine optimization, means the opening of the article states what the product is, who it is for, and the URL, in sentences an answer engine can cite. Both passes are included on the $29 plan only. The free page is still edited for clarity and the single link.

### What is the Pinterest pin?

On the $29 plan, Lede Press publishes one Pinterest pin about the article at 10:00 UTC on the launch day (two hours after the 08:00 UTC go-live). The pin uses the article title and summary, links to the live publication URL, and appears on https://in.pinterest.com/praneetbrar/ledepress/. The pin points at the article. The dofollow backlink is the link inside the article. You get an email when the pin is live. The free plan does not include a pin.

### What is IndexNow on the $29 plan?

IndexNow lets participating search engines know when a URL is new or updated. On a paid publication, you can submit the live page from the dashboard Actions menu. A successful submission emails you a confirmation. IndexNow is a ping, not a ranking guarantee. The free plan does not include it.

### What does the free plan require?

Your site displays a Lede Press badge that links to https://ledepress.com, and the badge stays up while the page is live. You still get the editorial page and the guaranteed dofollow link. Five free pages go live each day. If that day's five are already scheduled, the page waits in the free queue. You do not get the SEO and GEO optimization pass, the Pinterest pin, or IndexNow.

### Why is this $29 when agencies charge $500 to $1,000?

Agencies often charge $500 to $1,000 for one editorial backlink on a site you do not run. Lede Press is the site. The page is published here, listed in public, and priced at $29 with the optimization pass, a Pinterest pin, and IndexNow, or free when your site shows the badge.

### Why do free pages wait?

Lede Press publishes five free pages each day. A free page that is ready after those five are filled waits in the queue and goes live on a later day, in the order it joined. A $29 page does not enter that queue. It publishes the day it is ready, and there is no daily cap on paid pages.
